Form 292 - color //
When looking at an image on a screen we are observing color with context and organization. The image is comprised of pixels and these pixels, when in the correct order, reveal the intended image. However, if one was to change the order of the pixels and take away the context from the image, would it still be the same image? Would the color still be perceived the same way? Through the process of taking images from wikipedia’s color pages (blue, pink, red, yellow, green) and utilizing a pixel sorting processing code, the images are rearranged pixel by pixel to create a new abstracted image all from the same amount of data found in the original image. The output is still an organized image of pixels, but with a completely new context.
